Sun Salutations

June 21, 2023 is the Summer Solstice, otherwise known as the longest day of the year. It happens when the sun is at its highest point over the Earth, which means we get *the most* hours of sunlight in a single day.

In wellness circles, the Solstice is often the time to make a gratitude list that “shines a light” on the brightest things in your life. Grab a pen and paper and start your list small—the lilacs blooming down the street; the Spotify playlist that keeps you smiling—then build up to larger things like deep friendships, community commitments, and any sense of purpose or passion that’s keeping you motivated right now.

By noting all the beauty and joy that’s under the sun, you’ll get a stronger sense of what’s fulfilling you this year… and feel less stress and exhaustion too, according to science.

Plus: You guys know there are gratitude journals that are totally compostable, right? We’re thankful for those, too!
